DeWayne Cox is a talented and accomplished producer of video, film and television with extensive experience in production and post-production of film, broadcast and cable television. His filmmaking career began with the 1984 Olympic Committee and lasted for 8 years.
DeWayne produced and directed projects for MCA, Sony, Motown, A&M and Atlantic Records. Other clients included Shell Oil, Lawry's, City of L.A., State of Calif., CBS, ABC/Disney, USC, Denzel Washington, Debbie Allen, NFL, LA84 Olympics, USOC and NCAA. He also produced/directed 6 different TV series for Viacom's BET Action PPV Network.
In 2009, Dewayne Cox with Yeniffer Behrens and True Form Films. And in 2013, together with Yeniffer and Mauricio Mendoza, they produced the award winning narrative feature film After School and the feature documentary Create Option C, which is the touching story of Lourdes Colon’s journey through cancer. DeWayne and True Form Films are currently producing/directing several projects, including “What The Heck Is Dialysis and How Did I Get Here?!”, a documentary about the growing epidemic of kidney disease.
